Restoration Work

What we're doing:

Planting native and wetland plants at the Hosmer gravel pit. Since 2017 the Nature Conservancy Canada, in collaboration with the Elk River Alliance, has been restoring the Hosmer pit into a wetland. We need volunteers to help plant native species, pull invasive weeds, and put in fencing to protect our plants from herbivores.
